Νεά των μελών
On Tuesday, 24 October 2017 the Greek partners of the I_HeERO – “Infrastructure Harmonised eCall European Pilot” project will present their results at the Hellenic Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport facilities, in Athens (Anastaseos 2 & Tsigante, GR-156 69 Papagos, Greece). The event is part of eCall for HGVs Demo Tour, organised in several European cities, including Athens, to showcase the potential of eCall to save lives following traffic accidents involving Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs), buses and coaches.
The main objectives of the event in Athens are:
- To present the Ι_HeERO final achievements and outcomes;
- To highlight the road safety benefits of eCall for HGVs and passenger cars;
- To show the road safety benefits an electronic consignment note (eCMR) can bring to eCall for HGVs by providing information on transported goods.
During the event you will have the opportunity to learn about the road safety benefits of eCall for HGVs thanks to a hands-on demonstration with an eCall equipped truck. In addition, eCall for passenger cars and an eCall enabled PSAP will also be showcased as a result of the Greek partners’ effort towards the implementation of the I_HeERO objectives.
The event is organised by the ITS Hellas member, ICCS, in cooperation with the Hellenic Minstry of Infrastructure and Transport and is expected to attract a wide variety of participants from private and public institutions, local authorities, academic and research communities, manufacturers, road transport professionals and end users associations.

We are glad to announce that the NeMo EU project (http://nemo-emobility.eu/) organises its 1st Stakeholder Forum Conference on Thursday, 12 October 2017 at IBM premises in Ehningen (near Stuttgart). The Conference will take place following on from the International Electric Vehicle Symposium and Trade Fair (EVS30) to be held from 9 to 11 October 2017. The official invitation is available here.
NeMo –Hyper Network for electro-Mobility– is an H2020 European project, coordinated by the ITS Hellas member ICCS, that brings together 19 partners from eight European countries, to build a Hyper-network of tools, models and services to provide seamless interoperability of Electromobility services among all relevant actors. To this end, the project will develop a distributed environment with open architecture based on standardised interfaces. Actors in the Electromobility sector will be able to connect and interact seamlessly, in order to exchange data and to provide improved ICT services via an open virtual Cloud Marketplace.
1st Stakeholder Forum Conference participants will have the chance to learn more about the developments made in the first year of this 3-year project, and specifically the:
- Steps taken for building an Electromobility Hyper-Network with basic aim to increase interoperability of services for electric vehicles across Europe;
- Solutions proposed for an Open European Inter-Roaming Protocol, which will allow Electromobility roaming platforms to connect to each other.
A break-out training session focusing on Interoperable Electromobility Services will be also held in parallel to the Conference’s technical presentations. This will be the first of a series of NeMo training activities, to be organised during the project’s lifetime, with basic aim to familiarise interested app developers, researchers and PhD students with the NeMo Service development environments and Hyper-Network. Training events will also provide them with all necessary information and tools for their potential participation at the NeMo Hackathon that is planned towards project’s end.

A key European project to facilitate the wide scale deployment of Electromobility in the road transport sector has just launched its activities. The 3-year NeMo project, supported by the EU’s Horizon 2020 Programme, aims to make Electromobility more attractive by tackling the key barriers and drawbacks currently associated with Electric Vehicles.
The AutoNet2030 project consortium is prooud to invite you at the AutoNet2030 Final Workshop and demonstrations to be held on 27 October 2016 at the AstaZero Proving Ground (AstaZero Hällered, Göksholmen 1, S-504 91 Sandhult).
For more information regarding this event please visit: http://www.autonet2030.eu/?p=240
The AutoNet2030 is a research project co-funded by the EU within the FP7 framework programme (Grant agreement no: 610542) aiming to develop and test a co-operative automated driving technology, based on a decentralised decision-making strategy which is enabled by mutual information sharing among nearby vehicles in a 2020-2030 deployment time horizon, taking into account the expected preceding introduction of co-operative communication systems and sensor based lane-keeping/cruise-control technologies. The project is coordinated by the ITS Hellas member, Institute of Communication and Computer Systems.
For attending the AutoNet2030 Final Workshop please register hereby September 20, 2016. Your registration will be confirmed via email.
As the available seats for AutoNet2030 live demonstrations are limited the principle “first arrived, first served” will be followed.
TEAM consortium is cordially invite you to join tomorrow’s elastic mobility. The final event of the European research project TEAM will demonstrate how collaborative mobility can turn to reality.
“Collaborating for tomorrow’s mobility”
October 18-19, 2016
EUREF Campus, Torgauer Strasse 12-15
10829 Berlin, Germany
TEAM evolves traditional mobility patterns to become elastic by joining all traffic participants and infrastructure operators together into one collaborative network. In TEAM we developed 11 applications building on converged communications in 4G/5G and ITS G5 networks focusing both on infrastructure as well as traveller centric needs. TEAM applications are designed for flexible mobility, encouraging collaborative behaviour in traffic. The ITS Hellas members ICCS, Infotrip and e-Trikala are participating in the TEAM project activities in the framework of several Work packages and especially in the implementation of the two TEAM pilot sites in Greece, located in the cities of Trikala and Athens.
The TEAM final event will offer:
• a lively debate on the future of mobility, including smart innovations that move connected mobility systems from cooperation to real collaboration,
• first-hand experience of elastic mobility applications,
• a dedicated conference including high-level speakers from industry and authorities,
• creative workshops to design future mobility,
• a multimedia exhibition featuring TEAM applications and infrastructure solutions.
