Open Discussion: «New collaborative logistics models using cognitive, IoT and networking technologies - Opportunities and barriers»
We have the pleasure to invite you to participate in an Open Discussion under the theme: «New collaborative logistics models using cognitive, IoT and networking technologies - Opportunities and barriers», which will be realised on Wednesday, December 19, at 15:30-16:30 pm at the Hellenic Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport facilities (Seminar Room, 1st floor, Anastaseos 2 & Tsigante, GR-156 69 Papagos).
The main purpose of the Discussion, which will be held in the framework of the 4th ITS Hellas Conference, is the exchange of ideas and views in regards to the challenges encountered in the field of supply chain and logistics, such as:
- Load-factor optimisation,
- Flexibility in non-scheduled routes,
- Cost optimisation,
- Enhancement of supply chain collaborative models,
- Same-day delivery, etc.
The Discussion, organised with the support of the European Project COG-LO, will focus on examining the possibilities of developing new collaborative models as well as enhancing further digitalization of the distribution processes in order to face the aforementioned challenges. At the same time, potential risks and inefficiencies that might occur by their deployment will be investigated.
The Discussion will be organised in smaller subgroups, which will try to extensively analyse the above issues while the final outcomes will be presented at the end of the session to the overall audience.
Due to limited number of seats priority will be given on α first come first served basis.
