For accomplishing that innovative demonstrations, the National legislation framework was revised to allow automated vehicles to circulate on road without the presence of a driver while several adjustments have been made on both the road and the public infrastructure. The ITS Hellas members ICCS and e-Trikala were the major contributors and organisers of the Trikala ATR demonstrations with the contribution and valuable collaboration of the Hellenic, Ministry of Infrastructure, Transports and Networks.
