Final event 3 webΜε την επιτυχία πραγματοποιήθηκε η τελική επίδειξη των αποτελεσμάτων του ερευνητικού έργου ΙΝΤΕ-ΤRΑΝSIT: «Integrated and Interoperable Maritime Transit Management System»,στον Περαιά, στις 24-25 Ιουνίου 2015 το οποίο συγχρηματοδοτείται από το Ευρωπαϊκό Ταμείο Περιφερειακής Ανάπτυξης (ERDF), στα πλαίσια του Προγράμματος Διακρατικής Συνεργασίας ΜED της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης. Το έργο, που ξεκίνησε τις δραστηριότητες του τον Ιανουάριο του 2013, με μια κοινοπραξία 8 εταίρων από 4 Μεσογειακές χώρες, συντονίζει το Ερευνητικό Πανεπιστημιακό Ινστιτούτο Συστημάτων Επικοινωνιών & Υπολογιστών (ΕΠΙΣΕΥ).

GOLD Award for the project eKLISI in the Mobile Excellence Awards 2015

We are pleased to announce that one of the partners of the project eKLISI, COSMOTE, won the GOLD Award for the project in the category "Innovative Mobile R & D project" of the Mobile Excellence Awards 2015 (http://www.m-awards.gr/). The ceremony took place in Athens on 24 June 2015. 

The research project "eΚΛΗΣΗ", that was coordinated by ICCS with the participation of COSMOTE and SPACE Hellas, aimed to implement a national pilot application of the pan-European in-vehicle emergency call service "eCall" based on 112, the common European Emergency number.mony took place in Athens, on 24 June 2015.

Towards the development of automated driving applications for daily traffic

 

  
Athens, 6 May 2015, More than 60 people coming from OEMs, Tier1 suppliers, Research Institutes and Universities are meeting today and tomorrow in Athens, Greece with the opportunity of the General Assembly of the AdaptIVe IP, coordinated by the Volkswagen Group Research. The project develops various automated driving functions for daily traffic by dynamically adapting the level of automation to situation and driver status while legal issues that might impact successful market introduction are also addressed.

Best Dissertation Award 2014- Πολυτεχνείο Κρήτης

Με ιδιαίτερη χαρά ανακοινώνουμε ότι ο διδάκτορας του Πολυτεχνείου Κρήτης Mehdi Keyvan Ekbatani τιμήθηκε με το δεύτερο βραβείο του Best Dissertation Award 2014 της IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems Society.

Η απονομή του βραβείου έγινε στις 9 Οκτωβρίου 2014 στα πλαίσια του 17th Intern. IEEE Conference on Intelligent Transportation Systems, Qingdao, Κίνα. Από τις αρχές 2014, ο Mehdi είναι μεταδιδακτορικός ερευνητής στο Πολυτεχνείο του Delft, Ολλανδία.
